Tyre reference & warmer guidance

Racetec TD Slick

Dry track only. Warmers optional by design; Metzeler's published warmer guideline is 80°C / 50 min. Published warm-pressure range: front 2.2–2.5 bar, rear 1.7–1.9 bar (check size and latest guidance).

Sportec 01

Road-focused sporty tyre, suitable for cool, variable and damp conditions. Warmers generally not required. Use correct motorcycle/tyre pressure guidance and progressive warm-up laps.

Sportec 01 RS

More track-focused road-legal alternative for dry or reliably drying conditions. Warmers are not inherently required; check Metzeler's current product-specific instructions before selecting settings.

Sportec M9 RR

Road-sport alternative for cold or marginally damp track days. Warmers generally unnecessary. Avoid pushing in standing water; use a conservative initial pace.

No universal manufacturer-certified tyre carcass operating temperature window is provided here. The 80°C setting is a warmer setting, not a guaranteed on-track operating range. The estimated surface temperature is a rough heuristic, not measured tarmac temperature. Forecast rain is not proof that the circuit is dry or wet.
